Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Bioaccumulation of the substance was investigated according to OECD TG 305 in a flow-through test. Bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus) were exposed to a solvent control and mean measured water concentrations of 0.46 and 4.7 μg/L during an uptake phase of 31 days. Following a confirmation of steady state, fish were then exposed to only dilution water during the depuration phase of 9 days. Steady-state concentrations of the substance were achieved in the tissues of Bluegill after 14 days of uptake in the low and high treatment groups. The lipid normalized and growth corrected kinetic BCF in Bluegill was determined to be 97, the steady state lipid normalized BCF was 94 L/kg. Based on the experimental BCF, no bioaccumulation is expected (BCF < 500).
