Description of key information
No direct toxicity data for terrestrial compartment are available for the determination of PNECsoil for TBSI. According to the Annex IX data requirements stipulated in Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, these tests are not required where the risk assessment based on the equilibrium partitioning method does not indicate a concern for the relevant compartment. Having a PECsoil/PNECsoil ratio < 1 for all exposure scenarios, there is no need to perform a toxicity test for terrestrial compartment as the risk towards terrestrial organisms is sufficiently controlled based on the already available information.
