Additional information

Acetyl chloride genetic toxicity was tested (Ames test) for mutagenicity with Salmonella typhimurum strains TA97, TA100, TA1535, TA1537 in the absence and presence of a metabolic activation system. Acetyl chloride is not a mutagenic in these bacterial test systems either with or without exogenous metabolic activation at the dose level investigated.
