The partition coefficient of DETU was assessed by shake-flask method: log P = 0.57. A bioaccumulation study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation based on log Kow <=3.

In addition, using an in-silico approach, the biotic degradation products of the test substance were identified using the EAWAG tool and their bioaccumulation potential has been studied with EPISuite (v4.1). None of the identified degradation products is expected to fulfill the B criterion.
