Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A terrestrial chronic earthworm test is available (according TG OECD 222, GLP, reliability 2) and has been performed with the analogue Amines, N-C16-18-alkyl (evennumbered) propane-1,3-diamine (CAS 133779-11-0). Supported by read-across, this data was used as a read-across for Amines, N-(C16 -18 and C18 -unsatd. alkyl)trimethylenedi-, diacetates (CAS 1313206-64-2).

Additional information

Despite the fact that terrestrial studies are not requested according REACH Annex VIII, there is one existing long term terrestrial toxicity tests available on the analogue substance (CAS 133779-11-0) according to GLP and TG OECD.

No short-term terrestrial data is available but one chronic earthworm test (OECD 222, GLP, reliability 2) has been performed with Amines, N-C16-18-alkyl (evennumbered) propane-1,3-diamine (CAS 133779-11-0). Effects on mortality, biomass and reproduction were not observed. Therefore the NOEC earthworm is equal to the highest test concentration of 1000 mg a.i./kg soil dw after 56 days of exposure. This data was used as a read-across for Amines, N-(C16 -18 and C18 -unsatd. alkyl)trimethylenedi-, diacetates (CAS 1313206-64 -2) (please find the read-across justification document in the dedicated endpoint study record in the attached documentation part).
