Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key study: Based on the read-across approach from experimental data on acetone oxime (test method OECD 202, GLP study), the EC50 and NOEC (48h, based on mobility) for EAC3 in Daphnia magna were determined to be 678.73 and 520.76 mg/L respectively.

Additional information

Key study: Read-across approach from analogue substance acetone oxime:

An acute immobilisation test on Daphnia magna was performed on the analogue acetone oxime in accordance with OECD 202 (GLP study). 20 animals were exposed to 0 (control) 350.13, 455.17, 591.72, 769.23 and 1000 mg/L for 48h. The 48h-EC50 was determined to be 544.34 mg/L based on mobility (measured geometric mean concentration) and the 48h-NOEC was determined to be 417.65 mg/L (measured geometric mean concentration). Based on these results, the read-across approach was applied and the EC50 and NOEC (48h, based on mobility) for EAC3 in Daphnia magna were determined to be 678.73 and 520.76 mg/L respectively.
