Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The flammability by ignition (flame) was determined in a preliminary screening test resulting in the substance to be considered 'not highly flammable'.
Based on experience during handling and because the molecular structure of each of the substance components does not contain groups that might lead to ignition in contact with water and/or to the evolution of a flammable gas, the substance is considered ‘not highly flammable’ in contact with water.
Based on experience during handling and because none of the components of the test substance does contain groups that might lead to ignition in contact with air, it was concluded that the substance has no pyrophoric properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

The flammability by ignition study was performed in accordance with EC A.10 and UN ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.5 and according to the principles of GLP.

Statements (in accordance with UN Transport of Dangerous Goods-Manual of Tests and Criteria) rather than a full study (EU A.12 Flammability (Contact with Water) or EU A.13 (Pyrophoric Properties of Solids and Liquids)) were considered sufficient to cover these endpoints. The statements were written by an expert under the principles of GLP.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 including its amendments, the substance does not have to be classified for flammability.
