Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Remove subject from dusty area. Make him blow his nose
Contact with eyes: In case of projection, rinse eyes with running water keeping eyelids open (use eye
bath). Consult ophtalmologist in case of persistent irritation.
Contact with skin: Remove soiled boots and clothing. Wash skin with soapy water. Put on clean clothing
Ingestion: Rinse out mouth well. Do not make him vomit. Drink a lot of water in order to dilute the product in stomach
Fire-fighting measures
Appropriate extinguishing methods: All extinguishing methods are applicable (first choice water spray)
Inappropriate extinguishing methods: None
Particular risks: Release phosphorus acid
Protective measures in case of intervention: None
Other protections:None
Accidental release measures
Individual and collectives measures: Prevent public acess prior to cleaning. Wear protective clothing, boots, gloves, security glasses (anti dust mask). Ventilate if in enclosed area
Cleaning methods: Collect product mechanically. Place residue in a clean and labelled receptable. Clean with water. Avoid sweeping to reduce dust
Precautions for environment protection: Presents no particular risk. Do not spill in an environmentally sensitive area (rivers or soil)
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not handle damaged sacks. Clean work ares well to avoid dust. Clean clothes and equipment with a vacuum
Storage: Do not require specific measure
Bulk : keep dry and in a drained area away fom sun
Sacks : stack three high in an appropriate area with ventilation between stack and floor
Packaging storage: Bulk : revetted steel. Sack : paper, polythene
Other precautions: None

Exposure controls / personal protection
Technical measures: Keep areas well ventilated
Respiratory protection: Mask, Anti-dust filter
Hand protection: Safety gloves (PVC, neoprene, rubber)
Eye protection: Safety glasses. Goggles if heavy dust level
Skin protection: Overalls safety boots (PVC, neoprene, rubber). Do not put on heavily soiled clothing.
Other protections: Eye bathes can be provided in the dusty areas. Do not eat, drink, or smoke in the work area.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable
Conditions to be avoided: None
Materials to be avoided: None
Dangerous decomposition products: None
Other informations: None
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment: Collect and disposal according to local law
Packaging treatment: Empty sacks well. Rinse and treat effluent like product. All waste packaging can be recycled at an authorised point).
