The hydrolysis as a function of pH of the test item Epoxy Resin T1600 was assessed according to the OECD guideline 111.

The objective of the study was to determine the rate of hydrolysis of the test item in different buffers and at different temperatures.

The preliminary test showed that the item was stable at pH 1.2,4.5, 7 and 9 at 50°C. After 5 days, less than 10% of hydrolisis were observed through analysis of dissolved organic carbon.

As specified in the OECD guideline 111, EPOXY RESIN T1600 is considered as hydrolytically stable and no additionnal testing is required.
