Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A:10: A test according to A.10 (flammability; solid) is not considered to be required, since the substance Symrose is a liquid substance with a melting point of -21°C and a boiling point of 242 -245°C, and therefore not a solid at room temperature.

A.11: A test according to A.11 (flammability; gases) is not considered to be required, since the substance Symrose is a liquid substance with a melting point of -21°C and a boiling point of 242 -245°C, and therefore not a gas at room temperature.

A.12: A test according to A.12 (flammability; contact with water) is not considered to be required, because Symrose does not contain groups that might lead to a reaction with water or damp air, leading to the development of dangerous amounts of gas or gases which may be highly flammable. Furthermore, experience in practical handling of the substance shows that it does not react with water.

A.13: A test according to A.13 (pyrophoric properties of solids and liquids) is not considered to be required, since the substance Symrose is stable at ambient temperature. The substance does not contain any chemical group that might lead to spontaneous ignition a short time after coming in contact with air at room temperature (approx 20°C). Furthermore, experience in handling shows that the substance does not ignite in contact with air. For the reason given above, no classification and labelling of the substance is necessary.
