Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Any other information on results incl. tables

At 155°C, there was a pause in temperature rise indicating the vapourisation of a low boiling fraction. No general boiling behaviour was observed. Some bubbles and vapour after approximately 15 seconds

and temperature rise resumed.

At 285°C, obvious signs of boiling throughout the liquid, with some darkening.

At 290°C - 350°C, boiling activity continued but with decreased activity.

On cooling the residue was found to be a dark solid with some lighter components and a residue of grey material at the bottom of the flask.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The boiling point is between 285°C and 350°C, at these temperatures also decomposition is observed
