Additional information

The melting point of the test substance was investigated in a guideline study (OECD TG 102, EU A.1). The observed effects in DSC and TGA curves above 50 °C could be caused by melting, evaporation and/or reaction/decomposition of the DMT by-products. In fact, analytical comparison of substance samples before and after heating to and storage at 150 °C did not show any evidence of decomposition.
