First-aid measures

Inhalation: Remove  victim  from  contaminated  area  into  fresh  air.  If  victim  stops  breathing,  perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Provide oxygen if breathing is difficult.

Contact with skin: Remove all soiled clothes or shoes. Rinse with water.

Contact with eyes: Irrigate immediately and abundantly.  

Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing agents: The substance is not combustible. Use fire fighting media suitable for products stored in the surrounding area.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Avoid generating dusty conditions.

Precaution to protect the environment: Do not release into drains or rivers.  This substance presents no particular danger for the environment.

Clean-up: Use suitable tools to collect spilled substance in a waste container. Clean surfaces with water afterwards.

Handling and storage

Handling: Prevent the formation of dust.

Storage: Store in a sealed container in a dry location (risk of absorption of humidity). If the container is made of steel there is a risk of the product being soiled with iron oxide.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection:       Required in presence of dust. Use an FFP3 type protective mask. The final choice of mask depends on the actual exposure                                                 conditions.

Protecting the hands:       Wear suitable gloves for operations in direct contact with the substance.

Protecting the eyes:       Safety eyewear.  

Protecting the skin:       Protective clothing.

Special hygiene measures:       Do not drink, eat or smoke while working. Wash your hands after handling and remove any soiled garments.
