Additional information

A weight of evidence approach was used to address this endpoint. The values obtained were quoted in peer-reviewed handbooks and as such were awarded a reliability score of 2 in accordance with the criteria set forth by Klimisch (1997).

The values were as follows:

Lide, D.R., et al. (2009): 6.15 g/cm³.

O'Neil, M.J., et al. (2006): The density of the test material is 6.162 g/cm³ at temperatures less than 310 °C, 6.19 g/cm³ at temperatures greater than 310 and less than 864 °C and 5.97 g/cm³ at temperatures above 864 °C.

Lewis Sr., R.J. (2004): 6.166 g/cm³ at 25 °C.

The value selected was 6.166 g/cm³ on the basis that this figure was reported at the temperature closest to ambient.
