In the SIDS dossier two log Pow values are given. The value of 1.45 is based on computation without mentioning of the method, thus reliability is unassignable. The value of 2.1 is based on actual measurement via HPLC, a method for which also an OECD guideline exists, and thus is considered as reliable. The experimental result of 2.1 fits well to the KOWWIN calculation result of 1.93. In accordance to the WoE approach it is suggested to use the log Pow 2.1, since it is based on actual measurement.
