Description of key information

The test substance is found to be readily biodegradable in a study according to 301 B (91.8% biodegradation in 28 days). Since the substance is readily biodegradable, degradation via abiotic hydrolysis is not considered to be a relevant degradation pathway in the environment. Considering the log Koc of 2.8 L/kg the substance has a low to moderate potential for adsorption to organic soil and sediment particles. Evaporation into air and the transport through the atmospheric compartment is considered to be relevant based on the Henry’s Law Constant of 398 Pa m³/mole and a vapour pressure of 82 Pa at 25 °C.
