Conclusions:
The substance, 2,5-diphenyloxazole, leting point was studied in accordance with EC Method A.1 and OECD Method 102 via a GLP-certified laboratory. The study used the Differential Scanning Calorimeter method and determined that the substance wmelting point was 71.4 ± 0.5 °C.
Executive summary:

The substance, 2,5-diphenyloxazole, melting point was studied in accordance with  EC Method A.1 and OECD Method 102 via a GLP-certified laboratory. Aliquots of test item (see following table) were placed in manually pierced crucibles and were subjected to a thermal program from 40 to 100 °C at 1 °C/min. The melting/freezing point is defined as the point at which phase transition from the solid to liquid state (or vice versa) at normal atmospheric pressure occurs. The extrapolated onset point of the relevant endothermic peak is usually stated as the melting/freezing point. As the phase transition can take place over a broad temperature range, it is often described as a melting/freezing range. The study used the Differential Scanning Calorimeter method and determined that the substance melting point was 71.4 ± 0.5 °C.
