Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give
artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give
oxygen. Call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin with water after contact. Wash contaminated
clothing before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately give 2
glasses of water. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Call a physician.
Notes to Physicians
Activated charcoal mixture may be beneficial. Suspend 50 g
activated charcoal in 400 mL water and mix well. Administer
5 mL/kg, or 350 mL for an average adult.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry Chemical, Water Spray, Carbon Dioxide.
Product arising from burning: Hazardous gases or vapors can be released, including carbon
dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full
protective equipment. Isolate area.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Small spills:
Vacuum or wet mop spilled material. Do not sweep.
Large spills:
Get workers out of area. Wear protective equipment. Use
supplied-air respiratory protection if dust concentrations
are not known. Vacuum up spilled material. Do not sweep. Do
not flush spill to sewer or ground. Wash area thoroughly.
Adequately ventilate area. Spill residue, cleaning rags and
absorbant may be considered hazardous.
Handling and storage
Handling: Handling (Personnel)
Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or
clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash contaminated
clothing prior to reuse.
Handling (Physical Aspects)
Avoid dust generation. Close container after each use. Keep
container tightly closed. Open container only in well-
ventilated area.
Storage: Keep container closed to prevent contamination.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: In 1 or 4 litre PE bottles.
