The test item is not a self-reactive substance.

The test item is not a self-reactive substance according to class 4.1 of the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods / Manual of Tests and Criteria and according to chapter 2.8[1]of the GHS (CLP) regulations.

[1]Chapter 2.8 of the UN Globally harmonized system of classification and labelling of chemicals (GHS), 4threvised edition, 2011 (UN GHS) and also chapter 2.8 in the CLP regulation1272/2008 (EU GHS).

Justification for classification or non-classification

The heat of decomposition was determined to a maximum energy of 74 J/g. Due to an energy release below 300 J/g the test item has not to be classified as self-reactive substance according to class 4.1 of the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods and chapter 2.8 according to GHS (CLP).
