Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results: slightly soluble (0.1-100 mg/L)
Comparable figures of 0.135 mg/L and 0.14 mg/L are reported as the water solubility of silver bromide at 25°C in the Merck Index and the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, respectively.

Description of key information

Multiple sources provide consistent information indicating that the water solubility of silver bromide is low: 135 µg/L at 25°C (Merck Index), 140 µg/L at 25°C (CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics), 84 µg/L in cold water and 3700 µg/L at 100°C (both acc. to Patty’s Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology). The highest figure reported for ambient temperatures (140 µg/L at 25°C) is used as the key value for the chemical safety assessment.
