Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately rinse with water for 15 minutes; if irritation
occurs seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove excess powder then wash skin with soap and water. Do
not use solvents.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Recommended extinguishing agents: Water, foam, carbon
dioxide and dry powder may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products arising from pyrolysis: Products of combustion may
contain oxides of carbon and soot.
Protective equipment: Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus
is recommended.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Persons dealing with spills should wear protective clothes,
protective gloves, goggles and if necessary an effective
respirator. An industrial vacuum cleaner should be used and
the spilt material placed in an appropriate clean labelled
container.
Handling and storage
Handling: Ensure good ventilation of the workplace. Wear protective
clothing (eg apron, overalls), protective gloves, safety
glasses and a dust mask. Use special filling and dose
systems to avoid contact with the substance.
Storage: Use unbreakable containers and keep securely closed. Secure
containers against falling. Avoid leaving residues on
containers. Store away from food. Suitable containers, for
50 kg quantities, are cardboard containers with
polyethylene lining.
