Calibration

The measurement of Indium after calibration mets the validity criteria.

Main Test

Three measurement were performed as the deviation of the onset between the first and second determination was too high (> 0.5 K) therefore a third measurement was performed.

As the test item is a UVCB substance a boiling range can be expected. Therefore, a boiling range is stated for the test item EUCALYPTUS RADIATA OIL:

- The endothermic event ranged from 117.26 °C to 224.87 °C (390.41 K to 498.02 K)

- The peak maximum ranged from 183.01 °C to 185.55°C (456.16 K to 458.70 K).

- The Onset was determined in a range from 158.71 °C to 173.22 °C (431.86 K to 446.37 K)

Conclusions:
The range of boiling occurred from 117.26 °C to 224.87 °C (390.41 K to 498.02 K) at 998.2 mBar.
The onset of boiling was observed in the range from 158.71 °C to 173.22 °C (431.86 K to 446.37 K) at 998.2 mBar.
Executive summary:

The boiling point of the test substance was determined under GLP according to OECD 103 / EU A2 guideline, using the DSC method.

Three main runs were performed, under inert atmosphere.

As the test item is a UVCB substance a boiling range can be expected. Therefore, a boiling range was stated at 998.2 mBar for the test item:

- The endothermic event ranged from 117.26 °C to 224.87 °C (390.41 K to 498.02 K)

- The peak maximum ranged from 183.01 °C to 185.55°C (456.16 K to 458.70 K).

- The Onset was determined in a range from 158.71 °C to 173.22 °C (431.86 K to 446.37 K)

Description of key information

The range of boiling occurred from 117.26 °C to 224.87 °C (390.41 K to 498.02 K) at 998.2 mBar.
The onset of boiling was observed in the range from 158.71 °C to 173.22 °C (431.86 K to 446.37 K) at 998.2 mBar.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
