First-aid measures
- General advice:
Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.
- Following inhalation:
Ensure supply of fresh air. By continuous complaints consult a physician.
- Following skin contact:
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists.
- Following eye contact:
Immediately rinse eyes under running water (approximately 15 minutes, or use an emergency eyewash). Always consult a physician.
- Following ingestion:
Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Get medical treatment
- Most important symptoms and effects: May cause an allergic skin reaction.
- Treatment: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media:
water spray jet, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:
no further information available.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
In case of fire hazardous decomposition products may be produced such as: Carbon oxides, Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Sulphur oxides
- Advice for fire fighter: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Cool container and metallic parts with a water spray jet.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions:
Unprotected persons must be kept away.
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Wear personal protective equipment.
- Environmental precautions:
The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up mechanically. Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with the regulations. Avoid raising dust.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
Advice on safe handling: Avoid dust formation. Avoid dust accumulation in enclosed space. Handle substance within a closed system. With Local Exhaust Ventilation
Hygiene measures: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Avoid dust formation. Take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge. Keep away sources of ignition.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container tightly closed and dry in a cool, well-ventilated place
