Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove affected person to fresh air; if necessary seek
medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash with plenty of water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of water and soap.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: All appropriate.
Product arising from burning: CO, CO2, SO2, NOx.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: In case of spillage collect with appropriate apparatus (e.g
breem and shovel or industrial vacuum cleaner) recycle or
discharge substance. Obey the protective measures described
in 2.3.1.
Handling and storage
Handling: The usual precautions when dye are handled should be taken.
Provide local ventilation at filling/refilling places.
Wear gloves, goggles and if necessary a dust mask.
The substance is a reactive dye. Some reactive dyes produce
allergies of the respiration tract. Even if a
sensibilisation potential of this substance is not known,
any inhalation of the dust should be avoided.
Storage: Store dry and in closed containers. Remove residues of the
substance outside of the container.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: None.
Chemical reaction with water: no reaction.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery is possible by filtration of the solid or by
sieving the big impurities.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: no possibilities.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: in an appropriate incineration plant.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: A-coal absorption and reductive destruction.
