Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
Symptoms and effects: Irritating to eyes
First aid
General: In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
Skin: Take off contaminated clothing immediately. Wash immediately with soap and water. Launder clothes before reuse.
Eye: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting.
Advice to physician: No additional information available
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: waterspray, foam, Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder
Unsuitable extinguishing media: none known.
Hazardous decomposition / combustion products: Nitrous gases may be produced
Protective equipment: Use self-contained respiratory equipment.
Fire and explosion hazard: In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Hand: For permanent (>480 minutes), full contact use, 100% nitrile gloves conforming to EN 374, e.g. KCL Dermatril 740 are recommended. If used under conditions other than given above it is recommended that a supplier of CE approved gloves is contacted. If it is mixed with or dissolved in other substances please contact a supplier of CE approved gloves.
Eye: The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be observed.
Skin and body: The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be observed.
Environmental precautions: Collect as much as possible in a clean container for (preferable) reuse or disposal.
Methods for cleaning up: Flush remainder with water (Absorb the remainder with e.g. wood chips).
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid dust generation. Do not breathe dust. Wash hands and contaminated skin thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Storage requirements: Storage: Preserve the well closed packings in fresh, dry and aerated place. Shelter from heat, free flames, sparks and electrostatic positions sources. Adopt fireproof precautions in the store area.
Other information: Protect product from moisture and wet air. Keep container tightly closed and dry

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory: In case of dust formation use dust mask. Dust exposure limits have to be respected.
Hand protection: Impermeable gloves resistant to chemical products.Take into account that the resistance of the gloves could be influenced by different factors, e.g. the work condition or temperature. Consequently the resistance could be different from the one indicated by the permeation data for a certain type of gloves.
Eye protection : Protective glasses with lateral protections
Body protection : Workers have to wear closed working clothes. The contaminated clothing should be washed before re-using them.
Additional information about engineering measures : Ventilation of the local where the product has been stored and/or manipulated. Provide adequate ventilation. If this is not sufficient to maintain concentrations of particulates and solvent vapour below the OEL (=Occupational Exposure Limit) , suitable respiratory protection must be worn.
Stability and reactivity
Stable under recommended storage and hsndling conditions. Keep away from strong acids and bases
Disposal considerations
Product: According to local regulations.
Contaminated packaging: No specific recommendations
