Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
Eye contact Holding the eyelids apart, flush eyes promptly with copious flowing water for at
least 20 minutes. Get medical attention immediately.
Skin contact Wash thoroughly with copious flowing water for at least 15 minutes. Wash clothing
before reuse. Get medical attention immediately.
Inhalation Keep him quiet and warm. Apply artificial respiration if necessary and get medical
attention immediately.
Ingestion DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING
If swallowed, wash mouth thoroughly with plenty of water and give water to drink.
Get medical attention immediately.

After handling, wash before eating, drinking or smoking.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media Carbon dioxide, dry chemicals, foam, water spray (fog).
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions Wear respirator, chemical safety goggles, protective gloves and boots.Prevent any product emissions to the environment, including air, soil and all water
bodies
Methods for cleaning up Absorb on sand or vermiculite and place in closed container for disposal.
Wash spill site with water after material pickup is complete.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Mechanical ventilation is recommended. Use local exhaust at source of vapour.
Personal protective equipment:
- Respiratory protection Respirator with cartridge providing protection against acid gas-organic vapour or
self-contained breathing apparatus. For short term exposure to low
concentrations, an approved combination acid gas-organic vapour gas mask is
suitable.
- Hand protection Protective gloves
- Eye protection Chemical safety goggles or face shield with safety glasses
- Skin and body protection Full body protective clothes and boots.
Hygiene measures Do not eat, smoke or drink where material is handled, processed or stored.
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal conditions
Disposal considerations
Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an
afterburner and scrubber.
Observe all federal, state and local environmental regulations when disposing of this material.
