Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: The substance is not considered an inhalation hazard. If
exposure occurs, remove to fresh air.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush with copious quantities of water for at
least fifteen minutes. Obtain medical attention if
irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately wash affected area with plenty of water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Fire may be extinguished by dry chemical, CO2, foam or
water spray. If area is heavily exposed to fire and if
conditions permit, let fire burn itself out since water may
increase the contamination hazard. If conditions permit
extinguish with water. Cool containers with, water if
exposed to fire. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides may be evolved.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Clean up promptly by scoop or vacuum. Do not flush with
water since that may spread the contamination hazard. If
spill area is on ground near trees or other valuable
plants, remove top two inches(5cm) of soil after initial
clean-up.
Handling and storage
Handling: When handling ,wear safety glasses with sideshields and
neoprene or dust resistant gloves. When excessive dust is
present, use a pesticide approved respirator and goggles.
Handle only in a well ventilated area.
Storage: Keep containers closed and store away from heat.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Substance has herbicidal properties. Does not react with
water.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Uncontaminated material may be reworked to meet product
specifications. Contaminated material must be destroyed.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The notified substance may be chemically neutralised by
treatment with commercial bleaching agent (hypochlorite
solution) followed by conventional biological treatment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Possible where permitted by regulatory authorities.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Dry product should be converted to an aqueous slurry before
incineration. Incineration should be carried out at 950 deg
C for two seconds or longer.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: In conjuncture with preliminary neutralisation this is an
effective means of destruction.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The notified substance will remain entirely within
industry/skilled trade control and will not enter the
public domain.
