Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Call a physician immediately. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
If inhaled: If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.
In case of skin contact: Wash contaminated skin with soap and plenty of water. Remove/ take off contaminated clothing and shoes. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell or skin irritation/ rush occur.
In case of eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.
If swallowed: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray jet, dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide (CO2)
Unsuitable extinguishing agents: high volume water jet
Thermal decomposition: carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary. Clothing for fire-fighters (including helmets, protective boots and gloves) conforming to European standard EN 469 will provide a basic level of protection for chemical incidents.
Accidental release measures
Methods for cleaning up: Use mechanical handling equipment. Avoid dust formation. Pack separately and send back to manufacturer. Flush with
plenty of water. Dispose of wastewater.
Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Pick up and arrange disposal. Sweep up and shovel. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling
Hygiene measures: Wash hands and face with alkaline soap before breaks and after handling the product. Use protective skin cream before handling
the product. Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
Advice on safe handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Measures must be taken to prevent dust explosion when processing in fine
crystalline form. Avoid dust formation. Put on appropriate personal protective equipment.
Storage
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Protect from light. Store in cool place. Keep away from heat.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate engineering controls: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.
Eye/face protection: Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166. Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Skin protection: Wear impervious clothing. The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace. Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique(without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Hand protection: Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves complying with an approved standard should be worn at all times when handling chemical products if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary. >8 hours (breakthrough time): Protective gloves should be worn under normal conditions of use.
Thermal hazards: Wear suitable protective clothing to prevent heat.
Environmental exposure controls: Operate in accordance with the national and/or international laws and regulations. Avoid release to the environment.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: The product is stable if stored and handled as prescribed/indicated.
Chemical stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous reactions will not occur.
Conditions to avoid: Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid electro-static discharge.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents and strong acids.
Hazardous decomposition products: Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous decomposition products decomposition products should not be produced.
Disposal considerations
Product: The material can be disposed of by removal to a licensed chemical destruction plant or by controlled incineration with flue gas scrubbing. Do not contaminate water, foodstuffs, feed or seed by storage or disposal. Do not discharge to sewer systems.
Contaminated packaging: Containers can be triply rinsed (or equivalent) and offered for recycling or reconditioning. Alternatively, the packaging can be punctured to make it unusable for other purposes and then be disposed of in a sanitary landfill. Controlled incineration with flue gas scrubbing is possible for combustible packaging materials.
