Administrative data
First-aid measures
General Information: remove contaminated clothing immediately.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, keep warm and at rest. Medical request help.
Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of water or soap. Remove soiled clothing immediately. Consult a physician and inform about the material accurately.
Eye Contact: immediately flush with plenty of water, for 10-15 minutes, to eyes with opened eyelids, consult an ophthalmologist.
Ingestion: drink plenty of water in small portions. Do not induce vomiting. Medical active carbon in large quantities administered with water. Seek medical advice immediately and show packaging or labels.
Notes to physician: symptomatic treatment
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water
Specific hazards arising from the substance or its preparation itself, its combustion products or generated gases: flammable. Vapors heavier than air. In case of fire, dangerous fumes generation (carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, silicon oxide, silane) are possible.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: wear respirator equipment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: personal protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Avoid inhalation of mists and vapors. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Environmental Protection: do not discharge into drains or watercourses.
Methods for cleaning up: for bulk product, dispose with mechanical methods. For Residual quantities use absorbent material (e.g. diatomaceous earth or dispose Chemizorb).
Personal protective equipment.
Additional Information: eliminate ignition sources.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Advice on safe handling: ensure good ventilated working place. Protect from moisture. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from incompatible materials (water, alcohols, acids, alkalis, amines and FeCl3). Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Precautions against fire and explosion: keep away from flames, heat sources and sparks (flammable), as well as static discharges.
Storage:
Requirements for storage rooms and containers: protect from light. Suitable material for containers: for example steel, and plastic.
Further information about storage conditions: protect from moisture! Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool, well ventilated place. Do not store outside.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Related Substances with workplace control parameters Technical Rule 900 (MAK-/TRK-/ARW-Werte) CAS-No. Fabric Type mg/m3 ppm
Personal Protective Equipment:
Respiratory protection: Gas mask with filter A long or strong exposure.
Hand protection: Use protective gloves. Before use, check for leaks / impermeability.
Preventive skin protection recommended.
Appropriate glove material: rubber; improper glove material: cloth and leather
Eye protection: tightly fitting safety goggles
Skin protection: Protective clothing
General protective and hygienic measures
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not breathe vapors. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Preventive skin protection recommended. After workwash hands.
Stability and reactivity
General: With proper storage and handling, no dangerous reactions are known.
Conditions to avoid: reacts violently with water, alcohols, acids, alkalis, amines, and FeCl3.
Materials to avoid: water, alcohols, acids, alkalis, amines, and FeCl3.
Hazardous decomposition products: a) with proper handling and storage: none, b) by humidity (hydrolysis): acetonoxime.
Disposal considerations
Disposal / Waste Product:
Recommendation: Ensure proper disposal by incineration in a hazardous waste incinerator. Observe local regulations are observed.
Used Packaging
Recommendation: Completely discharge containers (no tear drops, no powder rest, scraped carefully). Packaging is in compliance with local / state / federal regulations preferably be supplied or re-used.
