Due to the physico-chemical properties such as high water solubility (WS: 1265 mg/L at 20°C), low volatilization potential (VP < 0.0001 Pa) and the adsorption potential (log Koc range: 0.798 - 5.440) Fatty acids, C8-10, oxybis (2-hydroxy-3,1-propanediyl) esters (CAS 92044-91-2) is expected to mainly distribute to water and partially to sediment. However, due to its ready biodegradability, the substance will not persist in these compartments.
