Administrative data
First-aid measures
- If swallowed, call a physician immediately. Only induce vomiting at the instruction of a physician. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person.
- Avoid contact with skin; remove contaminated clothing immediately and drench affected skin with plenty of water.
- Persons who have been in contact with the substance or have inhaled fumes should get immediate medical attention. Pass on all available product
information.
Fire-fighting measures
- Extinguish with water fog (spray), carbon dioxide or dry chemical; do not use water jet to extinguish.
- Avoid unnecessary run-off of extinguishing media which may cause pollution.
Accidental release measures
- Contain spillage by any means available.
- If substance has entered a water course or sewer, inform the responsible authority.
- Ventilate sewers and basements where there is no risk to personnel or public.
- Where inhalation exposure can not occur, no respiratory protection is required. Where exposure level is not known, wear approved, positive pressure, self-contained respirator. Where exposure level is known, wear approved respirator suitable for level of exposure.
- This material and/or its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Avoid release to the environment.
- If the product is in a liquid form, stop it from entering the drainage system. Recover the product for re-use if possible, or for elimination. The product might, where appropriate, be absorbed by inert material. After the product has been recovered, rinse the area and materials involved with water.
Handling and storage
- Gives off toxic and irritant fumes when heated or burning.
- The vapour may be invisible and is heavier than air. It spreads along the ground and may enter sewers and basements.

Additional information
- Special provisions / remarks / other:
- Further notes on transport: Avoid crushing the containers. In the event of a spillage follow the warning labels and consult the safety data sheet.
Exposure controls / personal protection
- Prevent eye and skin contact. Provide eye wash fountain and safety shower in close proximity to points of potential exposure. Wear eye/face
protection such as chemical splash proof goggles or face shield.
- Prevent contamination of skin or clothing when removing protective equipment. Wear impermeable gloves and suitable protective clothing.
- Food, beverages, and tobacco products should not be carried, stored, or consumed where this material is in use. Before eating, drinking, or
smoking, wash face and hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Stability and reactivity
- Conditions to avoid: Avoid accumulating electrostatic charge.
- Hazardous Decomposition Products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen.
- Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.
Disposal considerations
- This material and/or its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Avoid release to the environment.
- Empty packages may contain some remaining product. Hazard warning labels are a guide to the safe handling of empty packaging and should not be removed.
