Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Contact with skin: Remove clothing and wash affected skin with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation occurs or persists, call on First-Aid Emergency number +386 2 5773 390. Contact with eyes: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation occurs or persists, call on First-Aid Emergency number +386 2 5773 390.Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Call on First-Aid Emergency number +386 2 5773 390.Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Call on First-Aid Emergency number +386 2 5773 390.
Fire-fighting measures
In case of fire try to extinguish the fire, use appropriate extinguishing media: foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Special risks: In case of explosion Call on Emergency Call +386 2 5773 390 or manually activate fire alarm by depressing a locallyprovided push-button. Evacuate the building and assemble at the nearest indicated assembling point. Give directions to fire fighting brigade.Special protective equipment for fire fighting: Do not stay in a dangerous zone without self-contained breathing apparatus and fire protective clothing.Other information: For large fires, apply water from as far as possible. Use very large quantities (flooding) of water applied as a mist or spray;solid streams of water may be ineffective. Cool all affected containers with flooding quantities of water. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering surface water or groundwater.
Accidental release measures
Person-related precautionary measures: Avoid substance contact. Ventilate and evacuate the area.Environmental-protection measures: Prevent the substance from entering the sewage system, surface and ground water.Procedures for cleaning/absorption: Clean area by adsorbing agent Absordan and clean up by vacuum cleaner. Environment:In case of small spill: Clean the area on proper adsorbing agent and clean up by vacuum dryingIn case of large spill: Call on Emergency number +386 2 5773 390 and evacuate from building. In all cases use appropriate measurements to prevent further flow of chemical. Procedure in case of Emergency call on local Emergency number +386 17217306 .
Handling and storage
Do not smoke and eat when handling. Storage: Store dry and closed original container at temperature 25°C.Protected from light and moisture. Keep out of the ignition sources.
