Administrative data

Endpoint:
oxidising solids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
The material does not contain any functional groups which may indicate oxidizing properties as indicated in table R. 7.1-29 of the Guidance on Information requierements, adapted from Bretherick (1999) [Bretherick’s Handbook of Chemical Reactive Hazards: An Indexed Guide to Published Data, 7th Edition. P Urben and L Bretherick. Butterworth Heinemann]. Therefore, it can be concluded by expert judgement that this substance has no oxidizing properties in the sense of EC.
