Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test item 2-Methyl-4-Isothiazolin-3-One Hydrochloride was used in its initial form. The test item melted in the burning flame (according to ibacon Study 123831180 the test item melted in the range between 165.0 °C to 170.0°C). The test item could not be ignited, no smouldering was observed and at the end of the measurement the test item was black.
Therefore, the test item is considered to be not flammable.
