- Conclusions:
- The water solubility of Biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid (Miramer M1142) was measured using the flask method and total carbon analysis according to OECD TG 105. The water solubility was 30 mg/L after four days of incubation at 20 oC and pH 5.7
- Executive summary:
The water solubility of Biphenyl-2-ol, ethoxylated, esters with acrylic acid (Miramer M1142) was measured using the flask method and total carbon analysis according to OECD TG 105. 1000 mg/L test substance was dissolved in an Erlenmeyer flask and incubated while shaking at 30±0.5oC for one-, two-, three-, or four days. Hereafter the shaking was stopped and the test substance was allowed to reach equilibrium for one day at 20±0.5oC with occasional shaking. Based on calculation of elemental carbon analysis the water solubility was calculated.
The water solubility was 30 mg/L after four days of incubation at 20oC and pH 5.7.
