Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The boiling point of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 103 and EU Method A.2 under GLP conditions using the capillary method. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

A small amount of the test material was heated in the electronically controlled sample block and the temperature around the sample was displayed. The test material was observed visually while raising the temperature. A phase transformation from liquid to vapour usually is deduced by the formation of bubbles. The test material was assessed visually for any possible changes in its appearance, consistency and colour.

Following a preliminary test, the main test was carried out from 30 to 400 °C with a 0.5 °C/min heating rate using 3 parallel determinations with 2 capillaries for each (988 hPa atmospheric pressure).

In both the preliminary and main tests, the test material did not melt and is therefore considered to have no boiling point.

Under the conditions of this study, no boiling point of the test material was observed.
