Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of inhalation Move to fresh air.
After skin contact: If on skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
After eye contact: If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Consult an ophthalmologist.
In case of ingestion: Rinse mouth immediately and then drink plenty of water, seek medical attention.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: None identified.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Combustible. In case of fire, the formation of combustion gases or hazardous vapours is possible.
Advice for firefighters: Do not stay in dangerous areas without self- contained breathing apparatus and adequate protective clothing.
Additional references: Do not allow extinguishing water to enter surface water or groundwater.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Avoid generation of dust, do not breath dust. Provide adequate ventilation.
Environmental precautions: Do not let the product enter into drains and/or soil/subsoil.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Collect in closed containers for disposal. Dispose of waste and its container in accordance with environmental legislation. Avoid generation of dust. Rinse with water.
Handling and storage
Handle the substance under strictly controlled conditions according to Article 18(4) of REACH Regulation. Rigorous containment should be achieved.Combustible.
Keep away from flame source. No smoking.
Use gloves, goggles and face protection.
Store in a dry place. Store in a closed container.

Exposure controls / personal protection
The substance is used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.
Effectiveness: The substance should be rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies should be in place in order to minimize emissions and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).
Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used in cases of accidents and where waste is generated. The PPE may be also used as a good practice.
Respiratory protection: In case of dust formation.
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves.
Eye protection: Wear suitable safety glasses.
Body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Wash hands and face thoroughly after handling.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: Possible violent reaction with: strong oxidizing agents.
Chemical stability: Stable at normal temperatures and pressures.
Hazardous decomposition products: In case of fire, the formation of combustion gases or hazardous vapours is possible. Can be released in case of fire: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrochloric gas.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of waste product or used containers according to local and/or national regulations.
