Description of key information
The BCF of TCD-emulsifier was estimated by QSAR calculation using EpiSuite 4.1/BCFBAF v3.01. The estimated BCF accounted for 819 L/kg wet wt (Arnot-Gobas, including biotransformation rate estimates, lower trophic).

The BCF of TCD-emulsifier was estimated by QSAR calculation using EpiSuite 4.1/BCFBAF v3.01. The estimated BCF = 819 L/kg wet wt (Arnot-Gobas, including biotransformation rate estimates, lower trophic) is considered to be moderate but well below the trigger value (BCF=2000) for the "B-criterion". Furthermore, considering the range of values for the different trophic levels, the reported BCF of 819 is a worst case estimate. Hence, TCD-emulsifier can be considered as not bioaccumulative.
