Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the substance to the freshwater fish Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) has been investigated and gave a 96-Hour LC50 of greater than 100 mg/l. Correspondingly the No Observed Effect Concentration was 100 mg/l.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a 96-hour semi-static test conducted according to OECD Guideline 203 the acute toxicity of the substance to Oncorhynchus mykiss was examined (Safepharm 2001). According to the results of the range-finding test, a definitive limit-test was performed in a closed system at a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. The effect-concentration was based on the mortality of fishes. The test substance being highly instable due to its high hydrolysis potential, the effect-concentration was related to the nominal concentration. The test was performed with an aqueous solution of the test substance. LC50 > 100 mg/L.
