Test solutions
- Vehicle:
- yes
- Details on test solutions:
- Required amounts of BPA-Tars were added to 5 litres of dilution water and treated for one hour in an ultrasonic bath and afterwards stirred for 24 h on magnetic stirrers. The nominal concentrations were: 0, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50 and 100 mg/L.

- Conclusions:
- BPA-Tars was demonstrated to have an acute LC50 for the Zebrafish of 4.95 mg/L from 24 to 96 hr of exposure. This finding suggest that BPA-Tars requires Classification and Labeling as Toxic to aquatic organisms.
- Executive summary:
2 -Acetone polymer with phenol (BPA-Tars) was assessed for acute toxicity to the Zebrafish by an O.E.C.D. Testing Guideline No. 203 study with GLP comlpliance. BPA-Tars was demonstrated to have an acute LC50 for the Zebrafish of 4.95 mg/L from 24 to 96 hr of exposure. This finding suggest that BPA-Tars requires Classification and Labeling as Toxic to aquatic organisms.
