Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification
The current environmental classification and labelling in Annex VI in the CLP Regulation (01 ATP, Index No 006 -103 -00 -7) is Acute 1 H400, m-factor 100 and Chronic 1, H410, m-factor 100. No effects were observed to fish and daphnia at concentrations upto the maximum solubility of the substance in medium. Based on the fact that effects were observed in the algae study by L'Haridon (2003) and the substance could not be analytically detected, as the concentration was lower than the LOQ (0.5 mg/L), the EC50 was arbitrarily set by the French CA as < the water solubility limit (4.38 µg/L).
However, the effects were only observed at very high loading rates (2000 and 4000 mg/L) and are most probably related to an impurity. In a repeat algae study with a WAF prepared at a loading rate of 100 mg/L no significant effects were observed. Based on this and the fact that the substance is poorly soluble and not ready biodegradable, the proposed environmental classification of the substance is Chronic 4, H413.
