Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

In a GLP-compliant study according to OECD guideline 111, hydrolysis of the test substance was tested at varying temperatures and as a function of pH (RCC, 2005).

In a pre-test the hydrolysis of the test item was investigated at 50.0 °C at each of pH 4.0, pH 7.0 and pH 9.0. The test substance was found to be stable at pH 7.0 and 50 °C. Therefore no further testing was performed at this pH-value. As in the pre-test the test substance was not stable at pH 4.0 and at pH 9.0, further testing was performed at elevated temperatures. The rate constant and half-life times of hydrolysis at 25 °C were calculated from the data generated at the varying pH and temperatures.

The test substance was stable at pH 7.0, the calculated half-life at 25 °C being more than one year. At pH 4.0 and pH 9.0 the calculated half-lifes at 25 °C were 95457 hours (3977 days) and 2298 hours (96 days), respectively. Based on these data the substance should be considered hydrolytically stable.
