Interpretation of results:
non explosive
Conclusions:
According to EU Method A.14, Everzol Red CDN Crude was not explosive under the conditions of the tests.
Executive summary:

This test using the procedures outlined in the SNCL Study Plan for IA09-04 and EU Method A.14. Everzol Red CDN Crude was exposed to thermal and mechanical stress. No positive reaction was observed during the performance of the test. Therefore, Everzol Red CDN Crude was not explosive under the conditions of the tests.

Description of key information

Everzol Red CDN Crude was not explosive (EU Method A.14).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

Thermal sensitivity test indicated that no explosion occurred and each test was suspended after heating period of 300 seconds. None of the test tube showed a deformation. Mechanical sensitivity (shock and friction) test indicated that no observed reaction of the test substance.
