Materials and methods

Principles of method if other than guideline:
The Wist 30 young rats (from Biobaza IISP, Cluj-Napoca, Romania), of both sexes, weighing 70-150 g, divided into 3 groupswere used. Control group, consisting 10 rats (5 males and 5 females) and tested groups consisting 10 rats (5 males and 5 females). One tested group was treated with 1% DL50 concentration dichloroacetyl chloride and the other with 5% DL50 concentration dichloroacetyl chloride. active. Dose was administrated at the beginning of the experiment and then twice a week. The conditions of care, feeding and administration were the same in' all the groups. The animals were monitored to fully consume the mixture received. On the 28th day of experiment animals were killed after deep anesthesia with ether and then, after laparotomy, the liver was harvested from which we sampled fragments for histological processing.
