Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One study investigating the toxicity of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, heptyl glycoside to freshwater green algae is available (Institut technologique FCBA, 2014). In this key study performed according to OECD 201 and GLP, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was exposed to nominal concentrations of 30, 44.5, 66.7, 100 and 150 mg/L in a static test design. Analytical verificaton (GC-FID) of the test substance concentrations 30, 100, and 150 mg/L at t=0 and t=72 hours resulted in 102.8 to 110.2% of nominal at t=0 and 103.2 to 113.9% of nominal at t=72 hours, respectively, hence concentrations measured have been satisfactorily maintained within +/-20% of nominal concentrations. The reported ErC50 (72 h) and EyC50 (72 h) values are > 150 mg/L and 107.8 mg/L based on nominal concentrations, respectively. NOErC and LOEC values are 44.5 and 66.7 mg/L, respectively.
