Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: In case of accident or if you feel unwell seek medical advice (show label or SDS where possible).
After inhalation: Provide fresh air.
After contact with the skin:
Wash with plenty of water or water and soap. In the event of a visible skin change or other com-plaints, seek medical advice (show label or SDS where possible).
After contact with the eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical advice in case of continuous irritation.
After swallowing: Give several small portions of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
water spray , extinguishing powder , alcohol-resistant foam . For small amounts: carbon dioxide.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: water jet.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases: Heavy soot formation during combustion. Hazardous combustion products: car-bon monoxide.
Special protective equipment for fire fighting: Use respiratory protection independent of recircu-lated air.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid dust formation. Wear personal protection equipment (see section 8).
Environmental precautions: Cover any spilled material in accordance with regulations to prevent dispersal by wind. Prevent material from entering sewers or surface waters. Observe lo-cal/state/federal regulations.
Methods for cleaning up: Damp down, absorb mechanically and dispose according to lo-cal/state/federal regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling
Precautions for safe handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid dust formation.
Precautions against fire and explosion: Avoid formation of dust and aerosol mists. Observe the general rules for fire prevention. Fine dust may form explosive mixture with air. Take precautionary measures against dust explosion.
Storage
Conditions for storage rooms and vessels: none known .
Advice for storage of incompatible materials: not applicable
Further information for storage: Keep container dry and tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure in the work place limited and controlled
General protection and hygiene measures: Do not breathe dust. Observe standard industrial hygiene practices for the handling of chemical substances. Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling.
Exposure to the environment limited and controlled: Prevent material from entering surface waters and soil.
Personal protection equipment
Respiratory protection: In case of dust formation: fine dust mask P2.
Hand protection: rubber gloves.
Eye protection: protective goggles.
Stability and reactivity
General information:
If stored and handled in accordance with standard industrial practices no hazardous reactions are known.
Conditions to avoid: none known
Materials to avoid: strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: none known.
Disposal considerations
Material
Recommendation: Dispose of according to regulations by incineration in a special waste incinerator. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Uncleaned packaging
Recommendation: Completely discharge containers (no tear drops, no powder rest, scraped carefully). Containers may be recycled or re-used. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Uncleaned packaging should be treated with the same precautions as the material.
