Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No information about the chronic toxicity of KDDC (CAS No. 128-03-0) to aquatic invertebrate species was available. Therefore, a conclusion about this endpoint had to be drawn based on toxicity data from an analogue substance. The chronic toxicity of Ziram (CAS No. 137-30-4) to Daphnia magna was investigated by Palmer et al. (2006). This test was performed according to OECD Guideline No. 211, Daphnia magna Reproduction Test (1998) and EPA OPPTS 850.1300, Daphnid Chronic Toxicity Test (1996), under GLP conditions. Daphnids were exposed for 21 days to the test substance within a flow-through water regime. Adverse effects on growth, survival and reproductive performance (measured as number of neonates per female) were reported, resulting in a NOEC of 78 µg a.i./L (based on reproduction).
