Description of key information

The 96h-LC50 is > 45 mg/L in a OECD guideline 203 test with Oncorhynchus mykiss under GLP (reliability 1).

Additional information

The acute toxicity of p-Toluenesulphonamide (PTSA) towards Oncorhynchus mykiss was investigated according to OECD guideline 203 under GLP. Fish were exposed to a concentration of 45 mg/L in a semi-static test design and observed for 96 hours. The 96h-LC50 was found to be > 45 mg/L.
