No experimental determination was possible using Method A.2 as the test material had been determined to decompose without melting (see section 4.2). Therefore a calculation was performed using an adaption of the Stein and Brown Method MPBPWIN version 1.41, ©2000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Using structural information supplied by the Sponsor and an adaption of the Stein and Brown Method MPBPWIN version 1.41, ©2000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the boiling temperature was estimated to be greater than 360°C (>633 K) for all three components in the test material at 101.325 kPa.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test material had been determined to decompose without melting. Therefore no experimental value for boiling temperature could be determined. A calculated value of boiling temperature gave a result of greater than 633 K at 101.325 kPa for all three major components in the test material.
