attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10

minutes taking care to wash under the eyelids. Seek medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Wash off

immediately with soap and plenty of water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Clean mouth with water. Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Foam, Dry powder

Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon, oxides of nitrogen (NOx); hydrogen

chloride, other toxic gases and/or vapours are also

possible.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing. Wear self-contained breathing

apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal precautions:

Do not inhale or ingest. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and

clothing. Remove all sources of ignition.

Environmental precautions:

Do not flush into surface water, sanitary sewer or ground

water system.

Methods for cleaning up:

Use mechanical handling equipment. Collect the spilled

product into suitable containers, which must be tightly

sealed and properly labelled. Avoid dust formation. Do not

wash indiscriminately down the drains. Use personal

protective equipment.

Handling and storage

Handling: Handling

Avoid dust formation and ignition sources. Ensure good local

exhaust ventilation. Do not eat, drink or smoke

at the workplace.

Take precautionary measures against electrostatic discharge.

Protection against fire and explosion:

Avoid dust formation. Dust clouds from finely particulated

pigments may be hazardous (dust explosion risk).

Technical measures/precautions:

Ensure adequate ventilation to minimize the build-up of dust

or vapours.

Personal protective equipment

Respiratory protection: Wear a respirator type FFP2 (EN

149:2001) or equivalent.

Hand protection:

For hygiene reasons PVC industrial gloves (or equivalent)

are recommended.

Eye protection:

Wear safety glasses with side protection to protect against

dust particles.

Skin and body protection:

Closed footwear.

Working clothes.

Storage: Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well

ventilated place.
